Cozy, and had a bizarre room of 4 single beds which suited us. Decent breakfast included, and very quiet. The room was really hot though, and they were unable to turn down the blasting heat.
The hotel manager Kathleen went above and beyond in her service, we were so impressed! The hotel itself is well appointed with classic decor. Breakfast and beverage service were great. No elevators and the hill can be challenging if you have accessibility limitations. The service here is phenomenal and truly made our stay here in Cork.
Staff is very nice and helpful. The room is spacious and cosy. The biggest downside is breakfast not being included in already quite pricey room. But overall, not a bad place to stay when in Cork. It is close to the city center and has it's own kind of charm.
Let me start by saying this is for me the best place I have been so far. When you pay for your stay you don’t just pay for a room, you pay for an experience and that experience alone is worth every penny! The staff is packed with extraordinary people, each and everyone of them making the experience even better. The food, oh my the food that in itself is one tremendous bonus that I wasn’t expecting, because we all know as travelers it’s hard to get good food at places we stay, this time I was just absorbed and couldn’t even comprehend how good everything was! I’m from the Caribbean we have amazing food so take it from me when I say this place really has great food! I hope know you’ll enjoy this place as much as I did and love the experience it brings you! Thank you to all the staff members you are what make this place amazing and soo beautiful!
They were really accommodating in moving my booking. I had to postpone my trip for a week and they obligingly moved my booking at no extra cost. The room and en suite bathroom were clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. I know not much can be done about it as it is an old building but loses a star because I could hear my neighbour's conversations.
