Cork becomes a Christmas Wonderland

Bishop Lucey Park Lights

Bishop Lucey Park being magically transformed to an illuminated Christmas wonderland by Peter Kelly from Weddings by Franc. The theme of the Park is ‘Rockin’ Robin’ and three wonderfully friendly robins will be there to meet greet and dance to children and visitors alike. Throughout the Park special robin nests will be located where children can leave their letters and notes for Santa. Festive atmospheric music, mistletoe, bubbles and snow will fill the air further creating the magic and high spirits of Christmas for everyone to enjoy.

The festival will run for 15 days over the four weekends leading into Christmas with the market opening each day from 10 am to 8 pm and Bishop Lucey Park opening from 4 pm to 8pm and a new addition this year, Santas Secret Village from 12pm to 8pm at the old Beamish and Crawford building.

Don’t forget – Gabriel House is the ideal location for your visit to Cork this Christmas.
